It will wrap with an awards-night gala event at the Olympia Theater, where the North American premiere of Spanish director Enrique Urbizu’s Gigantes will screen, presented by series stars Juan Carlos Librado and Isak Férriz.ĭennis Scholl and Marlon Johnson’s Singular, a documentary about internationally renowned, Miami-born jazz singer Cécile McLorin-Salvant, will make its world premiere at the fest. In all, the fest will present more than 160 feature narratives, documentaries and short films of all genres, from more than 40 countries.
